DropWatts

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 21, 2026

These terms cover the DropWatts website and the app at app.dropwatts.com. By creating an account or using the demo, you agree to them. Questions go to hello@dropwatts.com.

What DropWatts is

DropWatts turns bills you upload into a dashboard and points out figures that are already on those bills or in published rates. It gives you information. It is not financial, legal, tax, or utility advice. Savings ranges, rate comparisons, and appliance estimates can be incomplete or wrong. Check anything that matters with LADWP before you rely on it.

Not affiliated with LADWP

DropWatts is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power or the City of Los Angeles. Your utility bill is still between you and them.

Your bills

The bills you upload are yours. Upload only bills you are allowed to use. You give DropWatts permission to store those files and to read them as the Privacy Policy describes, so we can show you the dashboard.

Use it as it is

The website and the app are offered as they are. We may change or remove parts of them. We do not promise that the service will be up all the time, or that every PDF will parse. You are responsible for the sign-in on your account.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, DropWatts is not liable for decisions you make from the dashboard, for charges on your utility bill, or for lost data. Nothing here limits a liability the law does not let us limit.

Closing an account

Email hello@dropwatts.com to ask us to delete your account. We may stop access if these terms are broken.
